1. A Church Family to Partner With

I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:3-6

2. A Friend to Live a Life of Faith With

If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. - Philippians 2:1-4

3. A Spiritual Foundation to Grow With

Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:12-14

4. A Fulfilling Place on the Ministry Team to “Make a Difference” With

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:8-9, 13

1. Fill out the a Ministry Team Application.


2. Receive training in the ministry area of your choice.


3. Meet with a ministry director to finalize your place on the team.

MINISTRY TEAM DESCRIPTIONS:

Communion Team: This team serves behind the scenes to prepare both the elements and the environment for Communion during our services.

Outreach Team: This team is all about giving back to the community through weekly, quarterly and yearly events. By becoming the hands and feet of Jesus you can be a part of a team that is meeting peoples needs.

Evangelism Team: With boldness and tenacity you can be involved in the lives of all types of people. Whether we are going door to door handing out flyers and praying for people or ministering the love of Jesus at a public park, you can get hands on with meeting people where they are at with the Gospel.

First Impressions: This energetic team serves by providing a hot cup of coffee and connecting with guests through a warm conversation and an authentic welcome. They love people and make them feel at home here at PURSUIT.

City Kids: This team creates an environment where children are consistently exposed to the real love of Jesus. Through worship, videos, the Bible, games and more, this team intentionally invests in the lives of our children.

Pursuit Worship: With vocals or instruments, this dynamic team serves to prepare the way for our guests to encounter the presence of the living God.

Prayer Team: This team of intercessors covers our services in prayer, as well as praying with people during service. Join this team that is blazing the trail for God in our city!

City Groups Host: We believe that real life change takes place in the context of relationships. As a City Group Host, you have the greatest opportunity to connect with others, fulfill your passions, develop your gifts and live out the Great Commission.

Youth City: Our Youth ministry is a fun and exciting environment for teenagers to grow in their relationship with Christ. Get involved in order to make a lasting impact on young hearts in their relationship with Christ.

Setup/Takedown Team: This team facilitates the Pursuit experience by setting up before service and taking down after service. Nothing happens without this team!

Production Team: Bring your creativity and tech savvy to this team by delivering the Word and worship through camera, lighting, media and sound elements.

Safety Team: This crew is trained and equipped to keep a watchful eye on all who are present at all times. Their primary goal is to keep everyone safe.
